Going Crackers with Artiste!
My family has a tradition of popping Crackers at Christmas dinner, and when I saw this cute item on the Artiste cartridge, I just had to make it! I used the La Belle Vie papers to make it an anytime favor, which you could fill with candy, or a small gift for someone special. I hope you like it!
This 3-D item is found on page 68 of the handbook, and page 47 of the assembly booklet.
I cut it out at 11 inches.
Then I cut out the rosette at 1 inch to decorate it. There are many different styles of rosettes on Artiste, and this one is found on page 50 of the handbook (dark blue) and page 23 of the assembly booklet.
I inked the edges of these cuts in Black ink, and folded and glued them together. For the rosette, I would suggest a strong glue, like Liquid Glass. It works great, with a strong hold! Then I added a Bling Button to the top of the rosette, a Sparkles Flourish to the base, and finished it off by tying the ends up with my new favorite, Black Tulle!

Today I'd like to share this bright and cheery birthday swing card made with Close To My Heart's Pemberley papers. I added a cricut bow from Artiste. Oh my goodness this little bow is cute! I cut it at 1 inch and it was perfect for this card. I added a Bling Gem from the new Boutique Assortment and a few paper flowers from my stash. Enjoy!
You can find the swing card on page 52 of the Artiste booklet ( cut at 5 1/2)
The bow is on page 55 (cut at 1 inch) with assembly instruction on page 32.

Artiste Ornament Ball
Hello! I decided to try my hand at an interesting 3-D item on the Artiste Cartridge, kind of an ornament shape, so I used the new Pear & Partridge papers. I added Opaques Pearl adhesive gems and Bitty Opaques pearls, and hung it with some Cranberry Baker's twine.
This ball can be found on the "J" key, on page 57 of the handbook, and the assembly instructions are on page 35 of the assembly booklet.
To begin, I cut out 20 circles at 1 inch.
They are easy to fold at the score marks by just using my fingers. Then I inked the edges with Smoothie ink.
I glued them together with Bonding Memories glue pen.

Artiste Double Ended Box
I have another unique box to share with you today. This is a double ended box!
I'm not really sure why you might need a double ended box, but I thought it looked really cool! :)
I found it on page 40 of the handbook, and on page 11 of the assembly booklet.
I cut the pieces out of the Avonlea paper at 5".
Then I found this cool bow on page 55 of the handbook and page 30 of the assembly booklet.
I cut it out at 8" so it would be approximately 4" when folded. I added two extra flowers at 7 3/4" and 7 1/4".
I then folded and glued the box together and inked all the pieces with the new Slate ink, which I love!
I wanted to add some dimension to the flowers, so I rubbed the end of the CTMH piercing tool around the edge of the flowers to make them curl up on the ends.
I also used the tip of the piercing tool to put the bow together!
Then I put a brad through the center of the bow to keep it together, and added a pearl badge button from the Wrangler Assortment on top of the brad. Here is how it turned out!
I hope you enjoy this, please leave a comment to let me know if it inspires you to make something this weekend!

Artiste Purse-Oh so cute!
Happy Saturday! Today I wanted to share this cute lil purse cut with the Artiste cartridge. Oh so cute and oh so easy!!! It's perfects to fill with chocolate and even has a little pocket in front for a gift card, cash or a sweet note. I used the Clementine papers, Cottage Assortment Flowers and Color-Ready Ribbon.
The purse is found on page 41 of the cricut handbook and was cut at 5 inches. The assembly directions are on page 13 in the assembly book.
I LOVE our Color-Ready ribbon, with a quick swipe of the sponge and your favorite ink color it can be whatever color you need. I used Twilight ink to match my Clementine papers. So cool!

Artiste One Piece Box
Are you ready for an awesome one piece self closing box? Check this out!
This cool box is made using one sheet of double sided Flirty paper, and the G key on the Artiste Cartridge! Look at all the fun things you can make on this key found on page 55 of the handbook. Once I decided on the box, I easily found how to put it together on page 33 in the assembly instruction booklet.
I cut out the paper at 3 1/2 inches, and here is how it comes out.
This is what it looks like when folded. The only tape that is added is on the side tabs. I used two strips of red tacky double sided tape to make sure it had a strong hold.
Once it is taped together, you can see how the top folds into a lid for the box! I inked the edges of the box with the new Enchantment Mini Pigment Pads in Ruby and Goldrush.
This is what it looks like with the lid pushed down and closed.
Here is a view from the top with it open. Pretty cool, huh?!
Then I added some of our new Rosette Ribbon and a beautiful resin pin from the Autumn Lane Assortment.
It can still easily open and close!
The box measures 3 1/2" tall when closed, and has plenty of room inside to put a nice little gift or some candy! I hope this inspires you to make a box yourself. The Artiste cartridge really makes it super easy!
If you don't have this cartridge yet, you can securely purchase the collection here on our blog by clicking on the BUY NOW button in the sidebar. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think about this box, and if there are any particular types of projects you would like to see on this blog. :)
