Love Never Melts Layout
Hello! Happy Friday!!!
Today I am excited to share this "Love Never Melts" layout. I love the color combination-Chocolate, Bamboo, Red and a little bit of Sweet Leaf, oh so pretty! I wanted to use the Flakey friends Stamp Set for some scrapbooking because I love the two sentiments in the set- "Love Never Melts" and "Snow Much Fun". They are just perfect for some wintertime fun photos.
I used Art Philosophy for the cuts on this layouts:
Banner page 29, size 3"
Tag page 27, size 3.5"
Snowflakes page 27, size 2"

Artiste Reindeer Bag
Hello! Rachel here again with a fun little holiday treat bag. You may remember THIS post with my owl bag for Halloween? Well, I decided to use the same bag to make a Reindeer for Christmas! Isn't it cute?
It was super easy to make with the Artiste cartridge! I used the bag from page 77, cut at 4 1/2", and the leaf shapes from page 54 for the ears. For the antlers, I used the Accent 1 scroll shape from page 43, cut at 2". The eyes and nose are simply circles cut at 1/2", 3/4", and 1" from page 48.
After inking all the edges, I put it together and added a Hook and Loop dot under the nose to make it easy to fill with some yummy Christmas treats.
For a final touch, I attached a strip of a zip strip border from Pear and Partridge, a cranberry grosgrain ribbon bow, and a punched holly sprig. If I had more time, I would add some Red Glitz Glitter glue or Liquid Glass to the nose to make it shine!

Chocolate Treat holder with December Stamp of the Month
This idea was shared on Angela Tutton's blog and I knew I had to make one for my favorite holiday candy, Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark. Using the mini album cut on page 60 of Artiste at 2.25 inches you can perfectly wrap a Ghirardelli chocolate square to share with a friend.
I sponge the "J" and "Y" from the Houndstooth Chipboard Alphabet. I love how you can sponge these letters with any ink color you need to match your project and get the great resist look you see above.
I used the December Stamp of the Month-Year Round Cheer for this project. I just love all of the super cute images in this set!!!

Another Artiste Ornament Star
Hello! Like a lot of you, I was also inspired by the beautiful Ornament Star that my friend Elvia made on THIS post. So of course, I just had to make one myself! Here is how it turned out, and a tutorial.
I started by cutting out the pieces needed from page 53 of the Artiste booklet. The accent 2 ornament shape.
I used one sheet of Pear and Partridge to cut them out. You'll also need to cut out a 2" circle for the base.
Here are all the pieces, and by turning over the 2 1/2" pieces, you can show the color on the other side. I forgot to cut these pieces out in solid form like Elvia did! Oh well, I went with the all lacy style :)
I used my Martha Stewart Score Board to score a line down the middle of each piece.
This is how the pieces will be glued together once they are scored. Notice that the green ones have 3 pieces to them, and the others have only 2 pieces.
I inked the edges of all the pieces and glued them to each other to make 5 points for each of the 3 layers. then I began to assemble the ornament by adhering the 3" points to the base circle to form a star shape.
Then the 2 1/2" green points get glued to the base in between these.
Finally, the 1 3/4" small points get glued on top. Elvia glued hers directly on top of the middle layer, but I rotated mine a little. I used liquid glue to make sure it held together nice and strong.
I added a pearl to the center and on the tips. I couldn't decide on a ribbon, so I didn't add that yet. I may even make a second one like this and glue them together back to back to make a totally 3-D star! Let me know if you were inspired to make one of these, too, I'd love to hear from you :)

Santa Note Pad
This is a cute idea for a quick gift! Last Christmas, Mary showed me how to make these, so I thought I would make this tutorial to share today.
Here is what you'll need:
Steno Book - 6"x9" with coils on top
Cardstock: White Daisy, Cranberry, Black, Sky, Pink, Colonial White
Cartridges: Artiste and Art Philosophy
Embellishments: Red Sparkles, ribbon, chalk marker, 3-D foam tape, embossing folder, Cranberry marker, Black pen
Adhesive: liquid glue, tape runner
Use your paper trimmer to cut the following:
White Daisy - 3 1/2"x 6" for beard, and 5/8"x 12" strip for pinwheel
Colonial White - 3 1/4"x 6" for face
Cranberry - 6"x 6" square, cut diagonally for hat, and 2"x 6" piece for hat brim
Then using your Cricut and the CTMH exclusive cartridges, Art Philosophy and Artiste, cut the following:
Either Art Philosophy pg 21 or Artiste pg 48, cut circles - White Daisy: 1 3/4" mustache, 1 1/4" eyebrows, 1" (3) eyes and pinwheel base, Cranberry: 3/4" mouth, Black: 1/2" (2) pupils, Sky: 3/4" (2) eyes, Pink: 1" nose.
From Art Philosophy page 65, font feature/shift, cut a 1" scallop from White Daisy.
You will cut the 1 3/4" circle in half for the mustache, and trim the 1 1/4" circle into eyebrow shapes and emboss these as well as the beard piece to add texture.
Then score the pinwheel strip at every 1/4" and fan fold, then glue pinwheel shape onto circle base with liquid glue.
Adhere the beard to the bottom of the note pad, then the face above that. Next, cut off some of the scallop border edge and attach to the bottom of the hat trim piece on the right side. Adhere this to the note pad above the face piece with the scallop overlapping a little.
Glue the eyeball pieces together and use the chalk marker to embellish the pupil. Arrange the face pieces on the colonial white and attach. Use 3-D foam tape under the nose and mustache.
Adhere the diagonal hat piece to overlap a little bit. Adhere the pinwheel to the bottom of the hat. Adhere the snowflakes and HoHoHo on top of the hat and embellish with Red Sparkles. I used a Cranberry Marker and Black pen to outline and detail these pieces. For the final touch, tie cranberry and white ribbons to the top left coils.

Advent Calendar from CTMH
My daughter and I finished up this advent calendar just in time to start our Christmas countdown. My grandson is going to have so much fun with this! Close to my Heart's Workshop on the go Advent calendar kit made this easy with step by step directions, matching papers, stamp set and accessories. The drawers are all cut with Artiste (page 80, size 2.5") We followed the kit directions then added our own decorations on the sides and top to fancy it up a bit.
We used Art Philosophy and welded the letters to spell "Christmas" using the Cricut craft room(size 2"). The gifts and tree are also from Art Philosophy. The gifts are on page 60, size 2.5 and 1.5. The Christmas tree is on page 52, size 4". We finished up with some red sparkle bling.
