Rosette Christmas Tree

Good morning! Today I wanted to share this fun project I made at my scrapbooking retreat. My friend Gail was making these adorable Rosette trees and I just had to try one too. We started with a 2 1/2 inch rosette from Artiste (page 77) and went all the way down to a 3/4 inch rosette. I have to admit the small rosette took awhile to fold because it was itty bitty but it was worth it. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. LOVE your tree! It looks like there is something between the paper layers--can you explain how you placed these rosettes?

  2. Thanks! Because my rosettes were thin, when I stacked them my tree was too short so one of my friends helped me out. She happened to have some clear sewing bobbins and suggested I wrap them with a little matching paper. So I did and then I glued them between the rosettes with liquid glass to make the tree nice and tall. (=

  3. Thanks for responding back to my question. How very clever to use clear sewing bobins to support your rosettes! I'll have to try this!
