Artiste Ornament Star

Happy Friday! Where did the month of November go? Is it just me, or do these holiday months seem to fly by in the blink of an eye?! Today I have an awesome project from our Cricut with Heart guest designer, Elvia Murray. She is my very creative friend and fellow CTMH consultant, and she made this awesome star ornament!

It is so pretty and very dimensional, I love it! She made this using the ornament shape on page 53 of the Artiste booklet, Accent 2/shift and base.

She cut 10 ornaments out of white cardstock at 3" and 10 more at 1 3/4", using the shift key which is the lacy overlay shape, and then she cut 15 ornaments out of blue cardstock at 2 1/2" with just the base solid shape. She scored them all down the middle, and glued two of the white ones together to form a point of the star. For the blue points, she glued 3 of them together. There is a circle on the bottom that she glued the points onto.  Here are more views to get an idea of how to put it together.

Happy Crafting!
