Artiste Swing Card with Avonlea

Were you inspired by Mary's series of swing cards? I was! Since I need a birthday card for a co-worker next week, I decided to try out one of these cute cards myself.

It was easy to do, thanks to Mary's chart to tell me what to cut for the middle (swing) piece.  This one is the same base as her adorable Owl card.  I used Avonlea papers, and added some Bitty Pearls around this accent piece and Liquid Glass to the stamped gifts to make them pop.  The bow is made with the new Slate Satin Ribbon, and I inked all the edges with Slate ink.

The score marks cut by the Cricut makes them easy to fold.

I used the Salutation Seals stamp set for the outside, and Card Chatter - Birthday for the inside.  I left the inside panels open for the personal message that I'll write.  I sure hope she likes it!

Don't forget to sign the back of your homemade cards. This will show the recipient how much you care! I used the Crafted with Love stamp set for this.

I hope you'll try one of these fun cards for yourself.
Happy Crafting!
